Investment Team

Mr. Sharp is a Partner at Surge Private Equity. He primarily heads up transactions in the healthcare and consumer products industry.  Mr. Sharp serves on the board of Busy Bee Cleaning Services, Access Dental, Hippodrome Services, Norris Training Systems, All About Learning, MyClean, RentACoop, Contractor Connect, Amuze Products, and Coastal Amusements.

Prior to joining Surge, he worked for The Halifax Group, a private equity firm managing over $1 billion in committed capital focused on investing into healthcare, business services, and transportation / logistics industry verticals. Prior to joining Halifax, Mr. Sharp was a healthcare services investment banker at Raymond James where he worked on sell-side advisory, initial public offering, and debt financing engagements.

Mr. Sharp earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Political Science from Vanderbilt University. Originally from Kansas City, he supports the Royals, plays golf, and enjoys traveling in his spare time.
